Sam Osborne

Freelance Technician

Sam is a freelance production manager, lighting designer, and creative technician who's been based in Nottingham for the last 8 years. He works nationally with a number of productions, tours, and venues, such as The Royal Academy of Dance, The Barn Theatre, Hull Truck Theatre, Little Angel Theatre, Tavaziva Dance, Nonsuch Studios, and Lakeside Arts. Every August, Sam travels up to Edinburgh to work as one of the venue Technical Managers for Paradise Green at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Working across lighting, sound, and video, for in-person, digital, and hybrid events, Sam is experienced at finding the right solution to bring the best out of any show. He is often found with some combination of tea and cake, looking for the best way to put saturated colours through haze.
